Development approval has been granted, the subdivision has been enacted and the plans have been finalised.
The next step is to sign a contract to build, and watch your empty, levelled block turn into an income-producing investment. This is one of the most critical times of the development. You're required to make staging payments at every significant milestone in construction, so the money is flowing out but not yet flowing in. The sooner your builder can complete the construciton, the sooner you can get the income flowing back your way.
That's why it's so important to have a relaible builder who will stick to the shortest possible build time. It's no good saving money on a "cheap" build only to lose all those savings in delays or problems that prolong the build while you watch interest and other costs mounting. Your contracts, administration and finance follow-ups will be handled by the same person at Amano Homes Developments, so they will be as familiar with your development as you are, and able to answer your questions at every stage of the construction. The stages are:
- Earthworks and slab down
- Plate height (brickwork up to the ceiling level)
- Roof on
